Terms of Service
01 Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using PokéVault ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PokéVault.
02 Description of Service
PokéVault is a Pokémon Trading Card Game collection management application that provides AI-powered card scanning, card grading estimates, market price tracking, trade analysis, and portfolio management tools. The service is provided on an "as is" basis and features may be added, modified, or removed at any time without prior notice.
03 Eligibility & User Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use PokéVault. By creating an account, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@pokevaultapp.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
04 Subscriptions & Billing
PokéVault offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Hobbyist, Collector, and Vault). Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date through your device's App Store or Google Play account settings. All payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective refund policies. PokéVault does not offer refunds directly.
05 Free Tier
The free tier allows up to 100 manually added cards and access to basic features. AI scanning, AI grading, price alerts, and trade checking are not available on the free tier. If you downgrade from a paid plan to the free tier, cards beyond the free limit will be locked and inaccessible until you upgrade again. Locked cards are not deleted — they remain in your account and are fully restored upon upgrading.
06 AI Card Scanning & Grading Disclaimer
PokéVault uses AI-powered technology to identify cards from photos and estimate their condition. These results are estimates only and may not be fully accurate. AI grading should not be used as a substitute for professional grading services such as PSA, BGS, or CGC. PokéVault makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy of scan results or grading estimates and accepts no liability for decisions made based on them.
07 Price Data Disclaimer
Market price data displayed in PokéVault is sourced from third-party data providers and is provided for informational purposes only. Prices may not reflect real-time market conditions and can be delayed or inaccurate. PokéVault is not a financial advisor. Any buying, selling, or trading decisions you make based on data in this app are made entirely at your own risk. PokéVault accepts no liability for financial losses arising from reliance on price data shown in the app.
08 User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit to PokéVault, including card images and collection data. By using the App, you grant PokéVault a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you submit.
09 Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Circumvent or attempt to bypass subscription restrictions
- Scrape, copy, or reproduce any data or content from the App
- Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the service
- Share your account credentials with others
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.
10 Intellectual Property
Pokémon, Pokémon TCG, and all related names, characters, and imagery are trademarks of Nintendo Co., Ltd. / Creatures Inc. / GAME FREAK inc. PokéVault is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Pokémon Company International, Nintendo, or any of their subsidiaries. All PokéVault branding, interface design, and proprietary technology remain the exclusive intellectual property of PokéVault.
11 Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. PokéVault does not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided through the App.
12 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PokéVault and its owners, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the App.
13 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PokéVault and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
14 Termination
PokéVault reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile settings.
15 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.
16 Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
